Astronomy for the Rest of Us: An Introduction to the Night Sky
June 6, 1PM, Tatnuck Booksellers, 18 Lyman St, Westborough, MA
Melanie Meadors, NASA Solar System Ambassador and public outreach coordinator for the Aldrich Astronomical Society, will talk about different astronomical objects and what they are, how to find them in the night sky, and some of the missions NASA and other organizations have embarked on to learn more about them. Plus, Melanie will demonstrate how to use a star chart as well as apps available on your phone to help you out. This presentation is perfect for anyone curious about astronomy and space, both kids and adults!
